Mr. Glenn Plaisance, a local Cajun from the bayous of south Louisiana, possessed a remarkable mechanical aptitude. His keen understanding of transmissions revealed a significant demand for his expertise within the maritime and marine sector. In the 1970s, Glenn embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, finding his true calling in servicing vessels both large and small.

As the industry grew, so did Glenn’s ambition to realize his vision. In 1998, he founded Marine Specialties, Inc. in Houma, Louisiana. The company quickly became known for its exceptional service and expertise in the industrial and marine sector.
